Hydrological assessment of the RAMSAR-designated wetlands in Laos

Duration : December 14, 2016 - August 11, 2017
Overview:

The ?Climate change Adaptation in Wetlands Areas? project (CAWA) led by FAO aims to reduce the climate change vulnerability of communities and the vulnerability of the fragile wetland ecosystems on which they depend, in two RAMSAR-designated wetlands in Lao PDR. As a partner of the CAWA project, IWMI will perform a simple hydrological assessment of the wetlands, combining water balances, hydrological modelling and statistical assessments of the hydro-climatic variability.
