Climate-smart villages in Southeast Asia

Duration : January 1, 2015 - December 31, 2018

In Southeast Asia CSVs? wide-ranging agro-ecosystems, CCAFS seeks to help build livelihood resilience of farming systems to extreme weather events, seasonal shifts and related climate change risks. This project will provide climate-smart agriculture (CSA) options to enhance adaptive capacity among CSV farmers and stakeholders. It will focus on integrated CSA technologies and practices which apply across crops/farming systems, create synergy with parallel research interventions for farm productivity/food security/income generation, demonstrate potential outcomes within farm-to-landscape setting, and are available for immediate field-testing as derived from earlier research of 8 CGIAR Centers and 7 CRPs.
