Developing social and water poverty maps to improve water harvesting in Northeast India
Duration : May 1, 2008 - June 30, 2010

This project aims to:
- generate and employ social and water poverty maps for selected sites;
- design and help in the implementation of appropriate water harvesting structures and multiple-use water systems (MUS), and estimate their impacts on the livelihoods of smallholder farmers;
- improve livelihoods through interventions for agricultural intensification; and
- capacity building.
